Decided to stop here for lunch on the way to Martinique Beach. We arrived before noon but by the time we were leaving the place was filling up. With only outdoor seating due to Covid restrictions it got rather busy so keep that in mind...if you are going. Both my husband and I had fish and chips. Really good prices and the fish was nice and flaky.More
Imagine my disappointment when I decided to calorie splurge and have poutine, having missed those squeaky cheese curds! At first I couldn't figure out why the curds had melted. They are usually firm bits. I then realized that what was called poutine was really fries...with gravy and melted cheese - I'm guessing mozzarella, maybe even white cheddar - not sure. Very disappointing. Perhaps a name change on the menu to "cheesy fries with gravy" would avoid further disappointment amongst those who really love poutine.
The fish is still really tasty and many patrons were getting fried calms. The set up is good for COVID however when our food was brought out to the deck the server was not wearing a mask.More
It’s delicious - really good prices, and the fish was flaky and in a big portion. Had fish and chips, and scallops and chips here. Would get both again. Tastes like quintessential small fish restaurant in rural
Nova Scotia.
A delicious fish and chip supper! I had a 2-piece order and it was just enough. Fish was done to perfection ... moist and tasty. Batter wasn’t too thick. Small coleslaw and tartar sauce included. Small seating area but clean and neat. Washroom was clean.
Our last stop on a 2 week Maritime vacation...stopped into Harbour’s for dinner close to their closing time. They reopened their fryers & cooked up their fish n chips for us. Not only were these the best fish n chips we’d had on our entire...trip but the most reasonably priced. Wow excellent service & foodMore
