The restaurant at the Westmark Hotel is really hit and miss. I've had good beef dips here with ok service but also terrible salads. I recently ordered a Harvest Salad, which is field greens with goat cheese, walnuts, cherry tomatoes and berries and it was served with ranch dressing. That seemed very weird to me. I subbed it out for... More

I find the food and service here mediocre on a good day. It's not bad service, it's just not good (except for that one awesome server last summer in the lounge). The best thing they have going is the chicken wings. Other than that, I don't believe, or taste , anything on this menu that is made from scratch or... More

The Wednesday Rib special is a real deal. The portion was 6 very large ribs loaded with meat and a tangy sauce. Our server was friendly, efficient and all in all we had a great meal. Too full to try desert.

For over 20 years the Lounge in the Westmark Hotel (the Steele Street Restaurant & Lounge for over 15 years now) has provided consistently good dining. The lounge is the original home bar for the Yukon Brewery's "Deadman Creek" Cranberry Wheat Ale - for a number of years this was the only place on the face of the earth where... More

Came here for early breakfast since Burnt Toast wasn't open yet. My table as well as the table behind me was dirty and wet. So wet that I could not put down anything on it. Server was friendly and I mentioned that table was wet but she forgot on two occasions. Finally I used my only napkin to clean it... More

Stuffed Mushrooms are delicious, but do not get them to go as they do not work out of a styrofoam container. They need to be eaten in the restaurant.

This is a hotel restaurant. Service is very good. Food is good but very expensive. Breakfast buffet (only quick meal for tourists) has dried out food. Eggs are not worth eating. Hard to get a cup of coffee. Dinner is alright. Meals are well prepared, but not worth the prices charged.

We just had lunch here, a tuna and cheese wrap which came with creamy chicken soup, and a Harvester salad which included goats cheese and fresh summer fruits. Couple of good size beers, and the bill was about $40, not bad at all I thought for the quality of the food, efficient service and the nicest coldest beer I've had... More

We ended up here for dinner on our first night in Whitehorse. We had no recommendations, but they had advertised on the hotel billboard, and it caught our eye. They had free appies from 5-6pm on Friday nights: chips and salsa, deep fried mushroom caps and veggies were all we could get at 545. We ordered the Yukon Brewing Company... More
