Stopped in following a dip at the hot pools. It is a really pleasant place with a light menu, good coffee & a selection of other hot & cold drinks. They even had some local crafts on sale.

I think the title really says it all. We were told by a local that this was her spot and she truly enjoyed spending some time each week there. It is open from Tuesday-Saturday 11-5. It is a cozy shop with lots of space to sit and enjoy both in and outside on the property. They have a book share... More

Worth a visit if you are in the area. The food was good and you could see them roasting the coffee in the back room.

About a 20 minute drive from Whitehorse, but well worth it. Lovely coffee, tasty food and the location is quaint and offers a lovely view of nature.

We got there towards the end of the day (they close at 5). Pleasant to sit outside and enjoy tea or one of their cold drinks. Free wifi was also much appreciated.

Thanks for the review Ewekon! We're happy to read you enjoyed your visit. We make all soup, panini bread, treats & iced-tea on site from real, mostly organic ingredients. Our coffee is organic certified fair trade and roasted in our roastery on site. This might explain that our prices were a little higher than you expected. More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review Kerian1. As a business dedicated to fair trade, we pay our staff fair wages. We also make all lunch items & sweets in our kitchen. This might explain that our prices were a little higher than you expected. We hope to see you again at our cafe! More

What a jewel of a bistro nestled into the bush surrounded by flower gardens brimming over with colour and scent, outdoor and indoor dining, friendly staff, excellent soup - carrot, lentil, curry that day with fresh-baked herb biscuit - soft and warm. Lots of lunch options, baking and excellent special coffees and teas. It is so calming and lovely there... More

Description
Since 1997 Bean North Coffee Roasting Company Ltd has been roasting certified organic fair trade coffee in the northern boreal forest of the beautiful Takhini Valley, northwest of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada. We have been offering coffee lovers a sustainable choice... premium quality certified organic and fairly traded coffees from around the world. We believe that the farmers who grow our coffee deserve a high quality of life and a healthy environment to live and work in. Following that belief, we have been building long term working relationships with producer groups and paying a fair price. That ensures higher quality coffee and allows farmers and their communities to achieve some of their dreams. We continue to be inspired by the people who grow and care for the coffee we buy, by our coop that facilitates its transport north, by those who roast and brew a magic blend and by customers who love our coffee and support what we do. North to South, Fair Trade is about relationships, people, family, birds, and communities. By choosing to drink certified fair trade coffee you are part of a powerful medium supporting positive social and environmental action. Can you taste all this in a cup of Bean North coffee, you ask? Yes! And you get great tasting coffee too... Come visit our cafe in the woods! We love to serve you an exquisite espresso and a sweet treat that you can enjoy on our patio. Our kitchen also has delicious soups available as well as a variety of paninis, ranging from a rich cheese bomb to herbed chicken & greens or the well-loved tomato mozzarella combination.
