This was our first time going out for Vietnamese food since visiting Vietnam, and we weren't disappointed. We shared spring rolls to start, and had pho bo and spicy soup with beef and pork. Large portions. Really good food all around...the broth wasn't as fullbodied as I'd like it to be, but it was still pretty good. I will certainly... More

Many years ago Saigon Rose was the best, and only, Vietnamese restaurant in town. We recently decided to give it a try after years of literally forgetting to go there. It was an unfortunate disappointment. There are several better Vietnamese restaurants to go to in town with better food, better atmosphere, and competitive prices.

A basic hole in the wall which is a hidden gem in Saskatoon. Friendly service and they always seem to remember you and your order (even if you haven't been around in awhile). I always bring family here when they are visiting from out of town and they leave everytime praising how good it was. Perfect for a quick lunch... More

I've been going here for years and they have the best vietnamese food I've had. I've tried many others but nothing else has compared.

Great food run with a Mom and Pops atmosphere. They always remember you even if you haven't been around in a few months. So happy and friendly. Food is great with healthy portions. Makes for a delicious and cheap lunch or supper. Our favourites are the Thai curry noodle soup, stewed beef noodle soup and the cold rolls. We have... More

I had the #34. Spicy noodle soup. Some of the tastiest soup I've ever had. Not the best-looking decor but I was there to eat, not to look at the surroundings. Will most definitely be back.

It was quite a few years ago when I visited this restaurant and I was extremely impressed at that time. I have been ordering home delivery from another place for a number of years because it was convenient and the food was good. However, this time I decided to make a change and I'm glad I did. We ordered on-line... More

The Saigon Rose has been a popular place for years and when I rediscovered it, I wasn't surprised that it was packed at lunch time. The food was quickly served and fantastic. I cannot remember a better Vietnamese meal. The prices were very good. The only downside is that the place is an absolute dump; I suppose the price would... More

I'm usually a creature of habit when it comes to food, so in all of the years that I have been coming here, for a sit down lunch in the restaurant, or for a take out meal for dinner, I have only ordered two items. Shrimp Salad rolls with the peanut sauce are incredible! Very tasty! Vermicelli Combination Bowl with... More

The server suggested a vermicelli bowl that had various meats and a spring roll. It looked great, but all the meats were over cooked, ie. hard to eat. The service was the highlight of this meal - it was prompt and very friendly.
