I've had a couple of decent meals here and some terrible meals. It is always slow. The decor is very run down and out dated. The prices are moderate.

Well located on 6th ave West within walking distance for most residents of West Hill away from the high traffic commercial areas of Prince Albert. Atmosphere is warm and inviting with a varied menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. Also Sunday brunch and catering which is first class. An outdoor deck area adds to ambience with secure fence which eliminates... More

Who would think of going to a "coffee and dessert" bar for a full dinner? Never would have found this place but for my local hosts who took us there. But, Shananigan's has a surprisingly complete dinner menu, with options like bison lasagna, pork tenderloin, shrimp skewers, and butter chicken. In our group of 7, all meals were rated as... More

This is a very unique little restaurant in the West Hill residential area. Great coffees and deserts. Lunch and Supper menus are very good as well with a good variety of foods.

I used to love coming here but on a recent trip through I ordered a salmon dish and it was quite possibly the most disgusting thing I have ever attempted to eat. When it arrived it looked like it had been saved from someone else's plate, refried and served to me. I attempted to try a bite and it was... More

I heard about Shananigan's a long time ago but have never been there. I will go back for sure. There are so many different kinds of coffees and drinks. Too many for me to figure out but I am sure that others would like that. I had a seafood wrap with soup. I wish that I would have skipped the... More

Having heard of this restaurant, we decided to try it out and went for breakfast. It was quaint in décor, clean and had a large menu boards up. We ordered the breakfast special and found that the quality of food, quantity and service exceeded our expectations. The server was friendly and made us welcome, the service was fast and we... More

Not what you would expect entering in this place. The look is deceiving and if you are the type of falling off on first impression, you are going to miss the best creative food around. And I am gluten intolerant. So I have less choices by design everywhere I go. They still achieve, for an affordable price, to impress me.... More

The coffee was served cold and weak, and the restaurant has a very low ceiling making it very noisy and difficult to hear my companion last time we went there.
