Usually one has to be careful with restaurants that offer a very large choice of dishes because very often the quality suffers. In this case we were lucky and all was perfect including the friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere.

The food was good with no surprises. Mainly classical dishes and they experimented with Thai flavours. The restaurant was far from full and yet we had to wait for at least 20min.

If you want basic good food from a hot dog to roast beef, this is the place to go to in Tadoussac and at very reasonable prices. The decor is warm and pleasing and the staff very courteous and friendly. We had an old fashioned lunch - a juicy hamburger and fries and a hot dog....Delicious! And the range of... More

Because of the high season, the place was very busy. We arrived just after a group of 11, so we had to wait for a while to get seated, then you get our food. We received bread, but no plate or butter. The food was good. The mussels were delicious. The waitress was nice. When we left, the table for... More

Our last night in Tadoussac was finished off with a very good meal. The menu has something for everyone to enjoy. The service was very good and so was the food. Good size portions for the price. Mu family and i enjoyed our meal very much. Definitely a place to check out and to take the family and friends.

We like the "assiette de pêcheur".The seafood pizza is a good try! But we found the spaghetti was little bit salty. Don't recommend the poutine since it's really salty. Maybe you should prepare to wait these dishes for around 20-40 mins so if in a hurry , just order something simple.

We ordered pizza for take-out after whale-watching and were amazed on good it was. The crust tasted so fresh and the sauce was so good. We definitely recommend this place.

I loved their mixed seafood platter which is nice and enough for almost two people. This is a popular restaurant and at night, there was a line up of locals which is a good sign.

Most restaurants on the main street were very pricey - however this one, located just a 5min drive from main street had a very large menu at very good prices (hamburger for $5, club sandwich $9, etc). Food was very good!

We enjoyed Restaurant Chantmartin twice over a cold and rainy weekend. We stopped in for a hot bowl of soup and sandwich after a three-hour whale watching trip. We were intrigued by the daily meal special that included a starter, meal, and dessert for $12.95, but opted for selections from the menu. The cream of mushroom soup-of-the-day was just what...
