During a week in the area, we dined here three times. The ambience is welcoming, service is friendly & professional, the kitchen is great, menu is most interesting and food is attractively served and is delicious! They serve foods 'du terroir', including local wild forest mushrooms & scrumptious seafood. Some evenings, a treat is their jazz trio, playing as you... More

fter a tough day of travaling we wanted to have a good satisfying meal. We decided that we were going to have a great meal and we ordered two different meals to try two different things. 1) The Clams with sea food mix.Excellent in taste and portion, worth it. 2) Deer or venison.Very tiny portion of meat, not even compensated with... The food was excellent, particularly the red deer filet mignon and the seafood bowl. However, the service was extremely poor, we received our starters before the bottle of wine that we had ordered, we had to ask multiple times for drinks. For the price charged, one would expect a more care and a more helpful service. Overall, the food was... More

My partner did not find anything on the menu as she likes food well done. A pasta was offered as a choice even though it was not on the menu; which meant we could stay and I got to eat deer meat was an excellent choice - it was done to perfection. for a mid October visit reservation was done... Fantastic food, wine, jazz at a good price.. perfect! Can't recommend highly enough! The seafood curry was the best dish we had since Brooklyn NY ... and that is a big compliment as we have had some sensational meals! Enjoyed the local wine made from Maple sap ... dry and not too sweet!

Very popular place - get a reservation. Menu is interesting. Red deer filet, salmon both excellent. Light jazz begins at 7 - very enjoyable. Service very good, no language problem. Yes,it's expensive.

After spotting beluga at the mouth of the Saguenay fjord and booking a whale watching trip for tomorrow my wife and I had dinner in this restaurant. What a delightful meal we had! The staff was super friendly and the chefs did a wonderful job. Highly recommended when ever on the Route Baleine!!!

Husband and I walked in off the street just having arrived in Tadoussac. Quickly we realized that reservations would be required as the place was full. We decided to wait and reserve for the next night. No one paid attention for a good 10 minutes... or even acknowledged our presence. Why would they? They are slammed full and don't seem... More

Very popular; we sat on front porch and were offered heater and lap blanket which was perfect; meal was well prepared (fish, seafood, fresh salad and fruit); wine options were limited but acceptable. Wait staff were friendly.
