Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Antidote Food Lab’s reputation is well-founded. The food was super-fresh and surprisingly good, without a single exception. For a place like this to offer Vitello Tonnato struck me as bold. I’m a vitello tonnato afficionado, and this is one of the best I’ve had anywhere...in the world! The preparation (a highly creative, de-constructivist approach) was superb - one of my all-time best bites. The rest of the meal was equally inspired. Kudos and many thanks to Chef Vaillancourt and the rest of the top-notch team both in the kitchen and front of house for treating us to a truly memorable meal!More

My wife and I were visiting Sherbrooke and looking for a place for dinner. She found this place so we thought we would try. It was fabulous. Located on the bottom floor of an old office building, we were not certain we were in the...correct spot. But once you come through the doors, it was one of our best dining experiences ever. This is truly a hidden gem. The service was excellent, limited menu was prepared and presented perfectly. If we were staying longer in Sherbrooke, we would be returning. And we will return again.More

I apologize in advance for my snobbishness but this place is too good for its venue and city. You sit down in this casual seeming gastropub, with its wood tables and kitschy decor, which is only about 3/4 full on a Saturday night, looking at...its average seeming comfort food menu with its reasonable gastropub prices and it sets a certain expectation. And then they start bringing the dishes and all you can say is what the hell is this? Who is this chef? Where did he come from? Why is he here and not in New York or Toronto? Maybe he should go to the big city and get a Michelin star. The only thing to hint at the creativity of the food is the name of the restaurant. Suffice it to say yes the food is that good. It's like something out of a $150 a plate big City tasting menu but a la carte and served in a TJI Fridays equivalent venue with slightly higher prices. I apologize if I am seeming backhanded in my praise for this place but it's just so surprising. Merits its 5 star rating.More

Great scene, warm and well appointed repurpose of historic building. Food was great, best foie gras I’ve had yet. Presentation and inventiveness of the dishes was great. Nice wine list, decent beer list. Would have been 5 stars, but beverage service was way too slow....Just getting water and keeping it filled was a challenge, and took forever from the time we sat down to get the first beer. I’ve worked at restaurants, so I can understand staffing challenges and other situations that can effect meals. But, being on top of the beverage situation can be an easy way to keep the customers satiated, and increase the sale. I was surprised that aspect wasn’t more on point.More

Nice setting with a great vibe. We sat at the bar and the barman served up great cocktails. He suggested excellent wine pairings with our appetizers and main courses. Young, dynamic and passionate wait staff that were all very knowledgeable and professional. The salmon was...delicious and my bison was fantastic. We had a wonderful meal and evening that was definitely worth it. We’ll be back next time we are in Sherbrooke!More

We went to have a dinner, excited for the reputation the restaurant have. The place is very nice, classy. Food is good presented. We ordered duck and salmon which we enjoyed, however the raviolis and entrees we ordered were low of the shef imagination. Little...adjustments in the menu will be good. Not the best service, but The place deserves a chance, specially under Covid siéntanles. I found the restaurant is expensive for the delivered product.More

The food is out of this world. Not for everyone though. If you are a hotdog type do avoid. It's all a question of taste. Quite expensive also. But it's an experience for food lovers

It’s out of sight, you have to know it’s there... but I’m glad I did. Was told by many people it was a foodie’s Heaven. They were right. Appetizer was perfect, as was the main plate. Highly recommend. The place is also stunning and cozy.

Stopped for dinner with a colleague on a late Wednesday night, and was the best decision we ever made. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and looks authentic. The service is perfect and the food... out of this world! It is the best food in Shebrooke...for the price, guaranteed. Just go. The food range is fine dining, the price range is affordable. The service is amazing.More

... For Wing Commander more than an Antidote, a series of love potions on the food portions. The #1 return dish Pate Chinois (Shepherd’s Pie) makes a #1 restaurant. Count me in. Q-Trip: Careful on the GPS. Antidote is back on the alley. Take time...to reset, re-confirm your directions. Wing Commander has a habit of showing up in Lennoxville instead of Magog. Q-Trip: Antidote includes a Keto menu. Plus, cooking staff listens to food sensitivity needs. My wife said the Keto beef was brilliant. As were the beets. Thank you Charlie, our personable and informative server.More
