I went for dinner with my better half on a Sunday night and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent and didn't feel overbearing. I had the Salmon tartar and we shared the desert tasting for two both were amazing. The prices were very reasonable for this kind of restaurant and ambiance. Honestly the food speaks for itself, full... More

Cute & trendy little restaurant in the heart of Old Quebec. Lovely decor & ambiance, terrific service, nice wine choices. Food was OK. The salmon tartare lacked flavour (salt, lemon, ginger) but everything else was very good.

Tried l’Échaudé because it was at walking distance from the hotel. Service was excellent, food was good. I liked the « Boudin » even tho it was a little heavy. Not sure I would come back, but still a good table!

Great restaurant located just behind where we stayed at Hotel 71. The service in particular was wonderful. Although we arrived later during their lunch service, we were not rushed and in fact our waiter was very friendly and enthusiastic telling us about other parts of Quebec, the restaurant and the menu. We also told them what we were looking for... More

This was excellent! The service was impeccable, the food had a lot of great flavours, and I would definately visit this restaurant over and over to try out the whole menu.

Saturday brunch and bistro menu is so difficult from which to choose! Our waiter was great, he steered me to their Poire Mimosa, pear flavored champagne and pear nectar - delicious, and to their combination brunch plate which offered up a bit of everything - gorton, eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, cassoulet, fruit and grilled bread. They even serve an amuse... More

We dined on a cold and snowy Super Bowl Sunday, when few people were out. Even so, the whole experience was outstanding, from the service to the food. Great dinning room, casual, but yet refined; cozy but not small. The food was some of the best we have had, with many local specialties. Nice wine list, based on our dinner... More

This our third visit over a span of years. It is still great. This time we had a Saturday brunch. The setting, service and food were all impeccable. I pleasantly discovered that a "bowl of latte" was in fact a rather large bowl of latte and it was great.

Not only the best French meal I've ever had (been to France several times), but the best service--why of course, I was in Quebec City. I was able to practice my French as well. Notably one of the best food experiences of my life.
