A very enjoyable meal. A very old fashioned but charming restaurant serving quality food. The menu served the kind of food that I recall from eating in good restaurants with my parents. Lots of flambe dishes were on offer, We had the duck which was both huge and delicious. Very attentive service.

A close friend sent us there, since she used to be in Quebec City frequently. As much as she hyped it, it was even better in person. No rush here. Everything prepared tableside...the way it was in the good old days. Waiters unobtrussive. Very romantic. Great wine list. Oysters Rockefeller were wonderfully prepared, and the Caesar salad was one of... More

This is an elegant restaurant with a flair for the "retro". It is a bit pricey. The food, mostly prepared tableside, is quite good, although not world-class. Frankly, you are paying for the theater and the "specialness" of the experience. If you are celebrating a special occasion, it is worth the splurge.

Enjoyed dinner there last week to celebrate our 13th Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely magnificent dining experience. Cocktails were lovely. We both had filet mignon prepared tableside. The staff brilliantly executed tableside service for multiple tables in this busy restaurant with great ease. We were incredibly impressed with how beautifully they pulled it off. The food was spectacular. Dessert....crepes suzette. Unreal. This... More

This is a nice dining experience with some retro touches. In essence our waiter was our chef as well as our server (so it’s a good thing he was likable!) There are choices you can order that are prepared in the kitchen, if you don’t want the tableside show. We started with traditional favorites, escargots and shrimp cocktail…how can you... More

Looking forward to our last night in the city, I chose this highly acclaimed restaurant. It was 6:30 on Monday evening and not very crowded. Our waiter was anxious for us to make a decision. I chose several vegetable options for a vegetarian plate. My husband chose the veal medallions. The food was brought lukewarm. My husband returned his meal.... More

Yes it is a little pricey but totally worth it. We could not have been more pleased. As walk-ins we got a wonderful table and perfect waiter. The food was phenomenal, beautifully presented, and innovative. I would definitely go again

This is a fabulous restaurant, with incredible food, beautiful room, and helpful staffers who made the meal even more enjoyable. For a main course, we had the duck l'orange, which was incredibly delicious.
