We couldn't get into the fondue place near our Airbnb in Old Town, so we drove 15 minutes out to La Tyrolienne. Easy free parking, quaint Swiss atmosphere with accordion player, and wide variety of fondue. We had Forestiere with wild mushrooms and cognac and then a four cheese version. Quite tasty. Limited kids menu but it was fine.

This place is a true gem. Very good service comfortable atmosphere and a great dinner experience. We would have never expected to find a restaurant that excelled in fondue. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable family dinner. We are would definitely return.

Very happy with food, service, portions, price. Wine was a little pricey but typical for a restaurant, just would like a 100% markup not 200%.

We went at La Tyrolienne for dinner with family. First, the interior of the restaurant merits a 5 stars. We really felt like if we were in Switzwerland, or surrounding regions (Northern Italy, French Alps, or Western Austria). Very pleasant to spend time there. Having said that, you need to know that the food is good, but not more. We... More

I have been to this restaurant more than 30 times over the last 10 years. The ambiance is fantastic, the service is professional, yet warm, and the food is delicious. I like to get the "Table d'Hôte" called "La Tyrolienne". Not only do I recommend it, you might even see me there sometime because I will definitely be back! :o)

My partner and I spent our last dinner in Quebec City together in Tyrolienne, which was not too far from our hotel. The restaurant was in a house tucked away from garish lights of Boulevard Laurier, and the interior was quaintly decorated with bells reminiscent of my travels to Switzerland last year. The menu offering were predominantly fondue of various... More
