Spouse and I visiting Quebec City on a sighseeign weekend. We arrived early - around 6 PM and were prompted seated. Nice, window side table. After a few glasses of nice wine, spouse had a beef shoulder special and I had grilled elk. Both dishes were very very good. Excellent service as well. By the time we left - roughly... More

We had dinner with 3, started with a very nice mixed cheese/meat plate, and had meat main course. My first Elk, which was well prepared and tasty. The presentation of the food is just like in a good European restaurant.

Recommended by Xavier at the Marriott. What an excellent choice. Beef tartar almost made me cry it was so delicious! Husband had elk...amazing. Duck breast with seared foie gras wonderful. Opera cake amazing enough to share. Sylvan was a wonderful server and assistant was also a pleasure. He was kind enough to recommend other places outside the walls. A memorable... More

After an afternoon of walking through the Old City of Quebec, we stopped at Cafe Le Hobbit for a glass of wine. Sitting outside, we enjoyed a glass of wine and their charcuterie board. Sitting outside in the afternoon sun, we "people-watched" and chatted. The cheese, toast, and meat were terrific. Of course, our wine was great...a wonderful memory of... More

We almost didn't go in, but we are so glad we did. The restaurant is charming. The waiters delightful and very efficient. The food was excellent, especially the dessert. A high quality meal outside the walls.

Random selection for brunch today - was walking past and it looked interesting, so I decided to go on in. Great choice as it turns out. Nice ambience, great service and excellent food. I had the healthy omelette (egg whites, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes) served with a small smoothie, toast and a vege pate. Really tasty, beautifully presented and washed down... More

We only had 2 nights in Q.C. and chose this place for one night's dinner, based on both a personal recommendation and online reviews. We were glad we did! No reservation, but on a Monday night it wasn't an issue and we were seated after a less-than 10 minute wait. The food was adventurous (by American standards, certainly ...), creative... More

Walked in here a few hours after arriving in Quebec City. Perfect in every way! Friendly attentive service, fabulous food, delightful space. It's true what they say - it's like being in Paris but less hectic. Charming and cheerful. Merci beaucoup!

We were recommended this restaurant by the lady who's apartment we rented and went there on our first night in Quebec. The guys serving are all courteous, patient and happy when you are happy. The food is delicious, pale (cream) ale is smooth. I whole heartedly recommend the elk steak and seafood risotto. We couldn't manage dessert after our starters... More
