We decided to visit this restaurant because of all the nice reviews on trip adviser and because it was quite close to our hotel. We are so happy we went there! My husband ordered blood pudding and I took a steak, we also had a cheese plate for the appetizer and some Italian red wine. Everything we ordered was absolutely... More

My boyfriend and I had breakfast here and we are still raving about it a month later. We got the Assiette Brunch - 2 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, beans, potato hashbrowns, and a little shot glass with a smoothie. Sounds simple, right? Well somehow they took a standard breakfast and made it divine. The atmosphere was cozy; we had a... More

Food was excellent. Service was great as well. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed Pricing is very good for the quality of food ($114 for a party of 4, with cocktails, 2 pints of beer and soda) The onion soup is outstanding. I tried the elk for the first time and I was blown away. Very tender and not gamy at... More

Wonderful experience @ Le Hobbit ! Found on trip advisor, tracked it down and did not disappoint. Waiters were very attentive and polite (even though we don't speak French). Responsibly priced food and deliciously tender meat. Awesome vibe! Try a desert special coffee !

We had the elk, and beef dishes. Food was very good . No complaints. Service was bad. We got a bad waiter. He got the order wrong and start blaming us for getting it wrong.

During our four days in Quebec we really took advantage of the set lunch menus at various restaurants. This one was exceptionally good. We stopped in at around 2pm and were delighted that the menu was still on offer. Our server, Pierrette was delightful. We asked her many questions about the menu and she was wonderful...our favorite person from our... More

We walked here from the old city and we're glad that we did. The atmosphere was casual and friendly and the dinner was excellent, we were not looking for white table cloth. We started with the salmon tartare, which has tobiko mixed in for a little crunch and was great. We then had the beef cheek and elk steak both... More

Our dinner last night was incredible. Our server was delightful and made wonderful recommendations. We started with the cheese tray and bread and butter. My cousin ordered a burger with homemade fries -- perfectly crunchy and soft fries and a tasty burger. I had the elk flank steak with vegetables -- I wanted to lick the plate clean! It was... More

Just had dinner here and it was great. We had elk steak, duck pot pie and some appetizers and they were very good. My son said it was the best steak he'd ever had. We tried 3 desserts which were perfect. The maple creme brûlée was to die for. Waitstaff was perfect!

We took our Mothers here on Boxing Day for dinner...and are we ever happy we did! We shared the Calimari (perfectly cooked...not greasy!), a cheese board (great variety) and I got the Duo of Foie Gras (1st picture), which is one of the most delicious plates I've ever had! For our main courses, we had the Cod with Quinoa and... More
