My wife and I came to Quebec City for our first wedding anniversary and were staying at the Chateau Frontenac in the heart of Old Quebec. One of the first things she wanted to do when we arrived was get authentic Québécois poutine and lucky for us the Chic Shack was at the bottom of the hill right outside the... More

Great burger and drinks at very reasonable prices ! Staffs are nice and friendly. The bench table facing the window offers you to enjoy the street view at your dining. Dont expect to hang out for long time as there're long queue waiting for the table ^^

After eating a lot of very tasty food from Quebec it was time to get a good burger and fries. This was not just a good, but exceptional burger. Having been twice and tried the three main burgers I recommend the "Le Chic".

Not to sound snooty, but in America every town has a place like this so it's nothing special, to be honest. The burgers are decent, but they're small. I didn't really like the homemade soda. The poutine was pretty good and hearty. We were there for lunch on December and there was hardly anybody there, so it's not always crowded.... More

This place was simply fantastic! We were looking for somewhere for lunch and found this place completely by accident and so glad we did. Situated in the old part of town just a few minutes walk away from Le Château Frontenac, this place serves great burgers, great poutine and great milkshakes. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back with friendly... More

We stopped by for an early dinner and loved the easy menu and funky drinks. The poutine was a bit different and we loved it. Very popular and crowded tho. Still had fast service.

Sooo it was snowing and we wanted to mail souvenirs back from Quebec's post office and literally found this burger place next door. The wait was a bit long (over 20 minutes) but it was ok because their service made up for it. We ordered Le Shack Burgers (they didnt ask we wanted our meat cooked but the burger was... More

We dropped by Le Chic Shack at 1:30 for lunch and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Well worth it. Burger, fries and milk shakes were well prepared, right proportion and incredibly tasty. Not an expansive menu but one is not needed. Le Chic focuses on doing what they do right. Food is a little premium priced but... More

We weren't expecting anything great because they are located in a fabulous location right by the Chateau Frontenac where the tour buses park, but we were hungry and the menu looked REALLY interesting! Good thing we did - we were seated outside - looking out & people watching. The menu is burgers and sodas/shakes but wait... no ordinary burgers &... More

The title says it all. Our server was rude and clearly didn't want to serve us. The burgers were average but for those of you who are pickle conosours, the pickles on the burgers were sweet and not as crunchy as I would have liked. Also, the truffle fries were perfectly fried but over salted. The poutine was sub par.... More

Description
Le Chic Shack is a new gourmet burger/milk shake restaurant opened in June 2012. We also serve poutines, fries and salads. For dessert, we offer milk shakes and ice cream sandwiches. The owners of Le Chic Shack are the sister-brother team of Lucy and Evan Price. They are also owners of the renowned Auberge Saint-Antoine and Panache restaurant in Quebec City. Located in a historic building owned by their family for five decades, Le Chic Shack reflects their culinary and interior design expertise. In creating their new restaurant, Lucy and Evan worked closely with their management team and Chef Mikael Garneau, previously of Panache, The Culinary Edge of San Francisco (California) and their local supplier base.Beyond our tasty recipes, these are some features that make Le Chic Shack stand out:* brioche buns made by local artisan baker Borderon et fils * sweet potato fries (along with fries from white potatoes)* uniquely built poutines - from side to main course dishes* milk shakes and ice cream sandwiches made with old fashioned coaticook ice cream * our own fruit sodas and ice tea* draft beer from the local Archibald brewery* draft wine selected by the sommelier of the Panache restaurant* the dynamism and energy of an open kitchen* a relaxed dining environment with tremendous views of the Chateau Frontenac through large French windowsLe Chic Shack is located on the Place d'Armes in the Vieux-Quebec (Old Quebec), facing the Chateau Frontenac and below the Musee du Fort.
