If you are reading this and are anywhere near Quebec City you need to stop and go to Cafe Buade! It is the oldest restaurant in Quebec City and a must-visit on your bucket list. They are most famous for their poutine, which I am...More

This is one of the best family restaurants in Quebec City. It does serve kids menu. The taste of the food was delicious. Have tried three times during five days of our stay. Very recommended !

First of all I think Canadian customer service is not very good, it is kind of slow. Cafe Buade is a local spot for Canadians to have breakfast. They have a big variety of options for breakfast, even a healthy corner. It is a cozy...More

Walked in as a group of 5. Service slow. Tea was cold. Chased out the door for a tip. Wouldn't recommend.

If you don't speak french, don't visit here. From the minute we spoke, the waiter was deliberately rude, even to the point of pretending not to hear and walking away. I ordered fish and chips and when it arrived the battered fish had obviously been...More

Advertised as a family restaurant, but it was anything but friendly, the milkshakes were small, the food was fried not grilled as advised, every thing appeared to be precooked and reheated. The service was slow and sour and we thought the food very over priced....More

We were told this is the oldest, however Google thinks otherwise (they say it's the Aux Anciens Canadiens restaurant). Nevertheless, it was fun to think were in the oldest when we went for an early lunch on our second day in QC. We knew we...More
