My hubby and I stopped by while we were visiting Quebec City for our babymoon. The reviews are true and I'm so glad we tried it out! We had lunch here (soup and half sandwich) which was pretty good, and then we stopped by again later for chocolate desserts (something similar to a chocolate croissant). They were to die for!!!... Totally worth the visit. The food is excellent as long as you are not gluten free. Enjoyed the coffee. Family enjoyed the croissants.

We did not discover this gem of a bakery for a few days after our arrival but we went there twice a day after finding it to sample their incredible baked goods and sandwiches! Wow! Staff was so very helpful and efficient despite long lines. Hated to leave the area and even took a sampling with us to eat on... More

My wife and I came to Quebec City for our first wedding anniversary and were staying at the Chateau Frontenac in the heart of Old Quebec. We had passed Paillard while exploring when we arrived on our first afternoon and knew it’d be the perfect place to grab breakfast the next day. They had absolutely delicious pastries, and some truly... More

Visited twice and very much enjoyed: Amandier croissant, with and without chocolate, baguette palliard, mushroom soup, Salmon sandwich, americano coffee English speakers need to suck it up and accept they might need to ask questions. Staff helpful. Two lines but they are uptight about cross over...

Food: delicious (we had assortments of pastries) Service: excellent Pricing: very affordable Atmosphere: Casual breakfast; locals reading newspapers; etc Very clean place. Love seeing employees wearing hair nets. I don't see that much anymore. We enjoyed breakfast so much the first time we went back for a second breakfast.

A good stopover for a hot/cold drink and sweet or savory food. I had a baguette and it was fresh, crunchy and ticked all my boxes. Service can be a bit slow but overall pretty good.

I went there a few times whilst on holiday in Quebec and enjoyed it every time- the food, staff are very polite and always seating area. It was worth it even though there were long queues.

Oh my! This patisserie was my personal culinary highlight. Visually the place is an overwhelment for the eyes but that is just the beginning. Everything from the sourdough bread that they will slice for you upon order, to the crossiants, to the macaroons (don't miss the limon) were every bit as good as those I remember from my youth in...
