The delightful staff made us feel very welcome and were most accomodating when we wanted to share our selections. The food was very nice and served hot and on time. Other patrons were enjoying their fondues & we wished we'd chosen those too. The staff gave children colouring pencils to help keep them occupied during lunch too.

Reading the reviews, I believe this is a misunderstood restaurant. It's not a fine dining restaurant, but it's great for a lunch or casual dinner. The fondue and the crepes are very good.

We had been in Quebec for a couple of days, food and service had been amazing until we decided to have breakfast at Le Petit Chateau. The menu sounds good, but the food was not good at all. Even the fruit seemed like it was canned food. I was amazed by the fact that they even told us that the... More

This was right next door to the Chateau Frontenac, where we were staying, so we had breakfast here the first morning of our trip. The crepe was good, and so was the omelette, but the price was high. Our server was very nice, though. Walk down to Rue St. Jean, where you will find several excellent, less price-y alternatives. Le... More

The man who served me was really friendly and the food came out quickly. I mostly came in for an afternoon snack crepe, it was nice but nothing spectacular- which is what I was expecting considering what I paid. My crepe wasn't even that warm, almost as if it had been made earlier, heated up and had some toppings thrown... More

We were walking around old Quebec and saw this tiny little restaurant and decided to try the fondue and crepes. The waitress spoke broken English but we were able to place our order. We were excited to try the cheese fondue and then some savory crepes. The waitress seemed to think the four of us were ordering too much food.... More

Huge menu with gorgeous Quebec style Fondues, Raclettes and Crepes. The cheese fondues are rich and yummy. Beef Fondue is lovely with very thin slices, carpaccio-style of beef, dipped in broth and a selection of sauces. Chocolate fondue is rich, dark and fabulous with fruit and marshmallows! With a little wine and cappuccino it rounds out the afternoon very well!!... More

With so many wonderful places to eat in Quebec City, I'm not sure why or how we ended up here. French onion soup was almost entirely bread; crepe was thick and doughy; poutine was weird - had cubes of cheese (maybe swiss) that eventually melted over the fries, but the gravy was bland and greasy - very meh.

The 3 course fondue we had was outstanding. The starter was pieces of bread with a large fondue filled with incredible cheese. Second course was thin slices of beef which we cooked inside the fondue bowl. Dessert was fruit and a huge bowl of chocolate.

The waiter was very good bilingual and attentive to special food requirements. Helpful advice when choosing meal and beer. Gluten free crepe was fantastic and not something I can usually get at Restuarant. Couldn't try the fondue due to my food sensitivity however I feel confident had o rang the day before it would have been accommodated. The French onion... More
