Been a loyal customer since it's opening but the quality of service and quatity of food has gone down. It's obvious that they are cutting corners. On a positive note, they have the best sashimi, and their Kim chi is amazing. Don't take the special chef menu for 5 because they will cut back on the sushis, sashimis and tempuras... More

Sushi is all very well, and this place has it and it's probably wonderful but that's not what we love here. We've been looking for authentic Japanese bistro fare for years now - ever since Osaka closed on Bleury. Wonderful little place. Décor is adorable with an open front area and little private rooms in the back -- if there... More

We have been eating at Hyang Jin's for 25 years. This is an absolutely charming family restaurant opened by top chef Hansoo Im and run now by his chef-owner son David. Chef David is continuing the family tradition of super fresh ingredients, generous servings and reasonable prices. Everything is delicious from the miso soup, the complimentary kimchi-seaweed-sesame-oil-bean-sprout salads, the authentic... More

This is a well-established sushi restaurant with some korean influence. Food is fresh and the presentation is meticulous. Lunch specials are very good value. The seating is tables or cute little booths with curtains that can be pulled for privacy. There are private dining spaces for bigger parties as well. Service is very pleasant.

I ordered the fruit de mer ramen, hot variant. It was hot and pleasant. The noodles where great - best ramen I've ever tasted. But have to admit that I've never tried one of those great ones from Tokyo - so cannot compare. Was served in a large bowl / pot (see picture), which was more than enough for a... More

It was my friend Lucy who presented me this restaurant: Hyang Jing. We barely found the right time to meet: she was busy with her moving preparation (to Singapore) and I was busy with ... uhm --my life. This Hyang Jin located on Queen Mary, Montréal -- not far away from my apartement and very close from Lucy's house. Perfect!!... More

A very nice sushi restaurant. The fish is always very fresh. Traditional style décor, with open tables and intimate closed off booths, as well as terrace seating. I have been to this restaurant about 6 times in 2 years and the fish has always been fresh, and the other dished quite tasty with friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the... More

We went there after being advised by a japanese friend and we weren't disappointed. The food was very good, generous and the price was good. We would definitely come back.
