My niece who lives in Montreal had been waiting for out of towners to visit to try Graziella. We went for lunch and were not disappointed. The ambiance, service and food quality were excellent. It is higher end than your everyday lunch spot but worth a visit if you are in the market for unusual but well prepared dishes. I... More

This place has been on our radar for months and we finally went on an unseasonably stormy and rainy night in February. Thankfully once inside, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made up for the fact that we arrived soaking wet. The staff took our coats and umbrella and whisked us away to our table at the back of the restaurant.... More

We were invited at this restaurant. It was a real pleasure. We appreciated everything from food to service. Real good choice of italian wine. Great ambiance. Great place. This restaurant deserves À+.

We went for dinner with a couple of friends from out of town, and it was a little bit disappointing, the service was very very slow, the food decent but not amazing, and the prices kind of high, our friends order a Rissotto for two, it looked like half a cup of rice with 4 little shrimp, apparently the flavor... After reading a very positive review in our local paper, we decided to return to Graziella for our anniversary. For starters, the perfectly cooked tuna was a knock out; the scallops, lightly browned in a veal sauce was heaven. I enjoyed the cappelletti with mushrooms, it was so light and tasty. The Osso bucco was not as spectacular as expected,... More

The restaurant is charming....in an old warehouse...very high ceilings...a bit noisy but conversation is easy. Our servers were great. The wine was superb.... Food was delicious, and presentation was lovely. The bill was reasonable...the only difficult element was the parking....but I found a lot 3 blocks away on William Street for $10. Will definitely return....

This is our third time dining at this lovely restaurant. Our visits were about six months apart. At each visit, all the dishes we ordered were delicious and prepared with care. The staff was very friendly and very professional . So why are we never returning? Two out of the three times we dined at this restaurant, we had to... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
