I got the smoked salmon omelet, which was awesome. My husband got one of the skillets, which had a variety of meats, eggs, and potatoes. Everything was delicious!

Le Cartet is excellent place for brunch. The quality of the food and the service were excellent. The only draw back was the line up, which was exaggerated by some guy who locked up a table for what appeared to be 10 people, none of...More

Went for breakfast but missed it by an hour so we stayed for lunch. Had a nice table for two along the wall in the rear by the tall windows. Loved the whole character of the space. Our lunch dishes were tasty and came quite...More

This lovely restaurant deserves all the plaudits it receives. We went back the following day to see if we could eat as well a second time and we did. This is not a cheap place to eat but you'll have to go a long way...More

We came across Le Cartet during the first hour of our stroll through Montreal and decided to give it a try, as we were all ravenous. Relaxing, fresh, modern atmosphere inside the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. But the food...the food...More

My husband and I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel for Saturday brunch. It was busy with a great vibe. We did not have long to wait for a table, but when we left around 11:30 there was more of a line...More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the
Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and
commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship
stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate
headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by
nightfall transforms from a business district into a
youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Do they take reservations for sunday brunch? Would 11 am be a very crowded time slot? We will be on limited time before 1:00 cirque du soleil this spring.

I don't think they take reservations and I imagine it would be crowded. On the other hand, service is pretty efficient and I think they turn tables over fairly quickly. Enjoy if you go.

Try the traditional breakfast of eggs, ham, bacon, potatoes, bake beans and toast. It's served in a skillet and it's very good. However everything on the menu is really good.
