Really good vietnamese restaurant kind of in the middle of nowhere. It's always full and the crowd is composed of about 50% of asian people. Which is a good sign of quality / authenticity. Service is fast and OK. The food is really good and portions are huge. Good quality. One of the best and cleanest vietnamese restaurant in Montreal.... More

Went there with my son; it's right next to his place. The food is excellent but the service was not the best on the day we went. I ordered some bubble tea which was never brought to me, even when we mentioned it to our server several times. I picked it up as take-out when we paid our bill. The... More

Just discovered this place and will stick to it ! Best Pho I had in Montreal, actually pretty much anywhere in the world... The other plates also looked amazing , can't wait to try it all. You go for the food not the decor. The place was full on a cold week night.

Had the raw beef salad as a shared starter, which was really delicious. The Pho was also very good, but it was a bit hard to pick the right thing from the menu as there is so many choices regarding the meat. XL Pho is really a lot. Service was super friendly and it's real value.

I only tried the pho; it was good. Not bursting with layered nuanced flavours, but solid and beefy, so it was still just as tasty after it had cooled down, too. I was going to give it 3 stars, but it's good homestyle broth, it is, and the place is nice. Maybe it's more of a roll place? Next time.

The food was alright. The best part was the spring rolls. The chicken, beef, and shrimp on skewers were decent.

Very odd to find all three; Value, taste and clean decor together. Asian buddies of mine insisted we detour 5 hour drive to go through Montreal to eat here - our entire group agreed it was totally worth it. Solid food at great price point (see pictures!) What was a real bonus for our group on a nice summer day... More

This is an excellent place to eat a good pho! Everything is perfectly cooked and tasty-and quickly served even if the place was really crowded. Excellent price/quality ratio! ( I can eat two meals with one 10 CAN soup. )

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
