Came here for a late night night cap. It's a bit more expensive than neighbouring places, but it's cute and has a nice atmosphere. Wine is really marked up...

Love the food there. Had Nacho's one night and I have to say the best nacho's I have ever had. Perfect amount of toppings and nice crisp nachos. I went back again and had the French Onion soup and poutine. French onion soup was okay. Not bad but I have had better. Poutine was ridiculously good. The staff was very... More

Les 3 Brasseurs located on St Catherine Street in Montreal has changed menus several times throughout the years. So once again we decided to go there on our way to an event. We were greeted and seated almost instantly that night. We both took the Flammekuche Poutine - yes Canadians will put poutine on anything. In this case it works;... More

Burger was good but chicken and waffles would have been good if you skipped the rubber chicken!!! Fries nothing to write home about neither was the beer.

We stumbled upon this establishment looking to watch some sports on TV. Although we did not eat there the menu looked like a typical pub menu with some nice traditional Belgium surprises and something good for most people's palates. The restaurant had many different crowds including children and we saw no issues. The bar staff was extremely attentive and friendly... More

Great for 20 somethings. Music too loud for conversation. Menu involves mostly the deep freeze and deep fat fryer. Staff very good, friendly and hard workinh. Seems like a party joint.

IBU 60 beer paired with their chicken and waffles and side of beer battered fries really hit the spot on a cold first day of March. The service is great and fun ambiance too!

Went there a couple of times since the past month and this place is always packed. Great variety of food and the service is quick and friendly. This is our go to place when we are in a hurry. The Sangria is sinfully good!

Great late night eats with a cocktail after a concert. I had the chicken waffle sandwich and my girlfriend loved her Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo.

Waited ages for our waiter to come by, and we were given a table tucked in a corner near a service station so I know they saw us. But--another Montreal restaurant with warm beer ( why is this?), however, the poutine was the best in the city ( and we kept trying until we got it right). We had charges... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
