My wife and I booked Bonaparte based mainly on Tripadvisor reviews, unfortunately it did not live up to such great reviews on this night. After being shuttled off to an end table we were informed of the Table D’hote mains which included Talapia (shocked that...More

The restaurant was filled with tourists. Apparently no regular patrons. Service was slow. We were a table of 4. Main course came out 10 min apart for each couple of guests. Mushroom raviolis had a great taste but were unfortunately dry and hard on the...More

Food and service were all very good. The standout item though, was the Grand Marnier soufflé. It was the most delicious, the largest, the fluffiest soufflé we have ever eaten. I don’t have enough superlatives to describe how delicious it was. It was wonderful and...More

We had a lovely, albeit expensive, meal in wonderful "French" type surroundings. We were well looked after by the staff and our table had been reserved as booked. My one disappointment was that I had informed, via my booking, the restaurant, that we were celebrating...More

Sorry for the delay - we stayed at Hotel Bonaventure, about an $11 taxi ride to Bonaparte. Large hotel, rooms need to be updated, but are a good size, only stayed 2 nights. Parking $25/nt
