I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone expecting to have a good meal. We order "seafood gumbo" whose seafood contents consisted of three shrimp. The roux was so black and so dark it resembled fresh tar (photo attached).

Ate there with three friends. Suitably dark and brooding ambience. Waitress was really polite and friendly; answered all our stupid questions (such as "what's Gumbo"). Food arrived quickly and was well seasoned and spiced. Great desserts and good selection of beers.

Imagine this... Dim lighting, candles on the tables, good music playing or perhaps a subtle live Blues band in the corner A good bottle of wine and good food All that's missing is someone to share that experience with! We love it here. I love the atmosphere. I love that Kyle always has my favorite Bourgogne aside for when we... More

Great food, I loved the swordfish and the spectacular sweet potato fries. Ambience and service are ok, we were able to have a conversation.

Last time we got there was in august of this year (2016). Food was great as usual, I took the Cajun combo, which is made of 3 different plates: Jambalay, crevettes Créole (so spicy!) and Poulet à l'étouffé (chicken breast with a thick sauce sweet and not to spicy). And don'y forget to keep some room for the desert... Bread... More

Came for a little New Orleans type of dinner but was disappointed that most of the Louisiana type fare wasn't available!!!! Everything was bland and fried... Not something you expect from southern style cooking but jeez...its from the south!!! No one came to ask me why I didn't finish my meal ( medium rare doesn't equal to bloody ) of... More

We visited this restaurant with my friend and his family for his birthday dinner. My friend has been coming here for his birthday for years. The restaurant is relatively small, and I understand that they do not take reservations, so getting there early is key. We ate inside, but there is a patio out front as well. The food was... More

With everything made in their open kitchen the sights and smells are great. If you like southern cuisine then you will love this place. Always something new on the menu to complement the standards they maintain. It's a great place to spend time and the food rocks. Love it.

We ate here one early evening in the summer. That day (a Thursday I think) they had an excellent blues-jazz group playing outside on their terrace, with several tables set up for drinks and dinner. We had a grilled tofu dish with veggies with hot but very good barbecue sauce, deep fried corn balls spiced pretty hot too (with a... More
