I've been a regular diner at Beijing for almost 30 years, and throughout that time I've found that what makes this place so special is its combination of delicious food and the real people behind the food. This is a place with soul, and you...More

While we were vacationing in Montreal we wandered into this place after seeing the lobster advertisement on the window outside. So, basically $25 for a lobster. Not the cheapest but not too bad of a price either. We ordered 2 lobsters, rice and the duck...More

I could not recommend this restaurant any less - after a mediocre food experience and terrible service (being ignored, food shoved onto the table meaning wine was spilt all over the table and not even being spoken to) we decided that a small tip would...More

The food here is very good. I've been several times and have never been disappointed. I tried many different items on the menu and all were delicious. The service is good and fast. I find it's best to go with a larger group of people...More

Went with a group of 14. Some ordered individually while others shared multiple dishes. The food was very good and the server was quite pleasant. Found it odd that payment was taken immediately for each wine/beer purchase. Maybe that's something they do w large groups?...More

Stopped into the Beijing Restaurant for lunch with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend. Wait staff were friendly and fast as usual. Ordered a selection of dishes from General Tao's chicken, beef with broccoli, spicy green beans with pork, Singapore noodles with shrimp, curried chicken,...More

I had the chicken in curry sauce. The service was friendly and fast. I enjoyed it and I would recommend it if you want Chinese food in Montreal!

We were here for dinner and we were not disappointed. There is limited ambiance and the service is all business, but that's what we loved about this place. TIP: you need to write out what you want to order because that's why they give you...More

Full menu of great selection. Great tea, eggroll sauce is amazing, general tao is sweet and crispy deliciousness, pineapple chicken filled with white meat right to the edge of the batter and hot and soup is spot on. Definitely recommend trying this spot out. They...More

After reading the reviews on TA I was really enthused to eat at Beijing on our recent trip to Montreal. A short walk from our hotel, Beijing has a familiar decor and several waiters in the dining room. Oddly enough, we sat and stared at...More

Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the
brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's
aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine.
Distinguished at its entry points by towering
vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighbourhood
acts as a focal point for the Chinese community,
hectic with educational facilities, cultural centres,
acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers.

Yes they take reservations but I will not go back after reading the poor reviews and they have been fined for dirty and a unsafe restaurant. I’ve seen it myself where one of the cooks used the bathroom and walked out back to... More

This restaurant is on de la Gauchetiere Street. There is also another fab restaurant nearby called Madison VIP where they have a large round table as well. It is on Clarke Street corner de la Gavhetiere. Excellent food.
