As I was touring the area on my own I thought I would start off my time in Old Montreal with a hearty breakfast. The host that seated me near the bar area was the most friendly and made me feel like I would get the best of service. From the waitress to the girl working at the juicer behind... More

We have been here before and it is a nice spot to have something fancy to eat. The service is quick and kind. The food is very nice and overall the prices are good.

The menu is large enough to suit everybody's taste. However, the menu is not as large as the portions. One breakfast is big enough to share. Wish we realised before ordering. Great service.

Friendly service, good coffee, and tasty food. What more could you want for your Sunday brunch? Stopped here during a visit to Old Montreal. I had the French toast page, which is brioche French toast topped with creme anglaise and fresh fruit. My friend had an omelette with a side of fruit. We were both impressed with our meals. Highly... The breakfast portions were huge, tasty, and served up in a timely fashion. Staff was very friendly. Available Wifi was efficient. For breakfast food, it wasn't cheap, but for the portion sizes, the prices were reasonable. A kid friendly place.

As you would eggspect (sorry), if you like eggs for breakfast then this is the place for you. The menu is vast and all the food is cooked fresh. Service is friendly and efficient and coffee flows freely. I particularly like the décor in this branch which shows a variety of modern art. Even the music is soothing and not... More

We dropped in mid afternoon as our flight meant we missed lunch. I had a wonderful brushetta with pears, goats cheese and walnuts. My husband chose strawberry pancakes. We were both happy with our choices. Great location for a snack, lunch or breakfast close to old Montreal.

We visited Eggspectation as it was a short walk from our hotel, deeper into Old Montreal. We arrived on a rainy Friday morning and it was surprisingly busy! We were seated almost immediately and given the (vast!) menu to select from. We actually had some difficulty choosing among the available options for the eggs benedict as there were many flavours... Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
