I had been thinking of visiting for a while but tonight it happened. Warm welcome and the restaurant was busy. Short wait while they cleared a table that had just been vacated. The fried cabbage was unexpected to start, but the soup was excellent. Ordered the shrimps and fish with creole sauce, and asked for it to be medium spicy.... More

We've been to Delices a few times in the last year while visiting Montreal. Here is my review : FOOD: Some are great but most dishes are just average. A few items are not typical Mauritian dishes or aren't served as they typically are in Mauritius. For example, the complimentary dhal at the start is presented as a soup! SERVICE:... More

Visited the restaurant quite a few times. The menu is the same since a couple of years except price went up. Food is neither great nor bad, it's just fine. I recommend having the soupe as entree. It was the only thing that got the real Mauritian culinary taste. Pay attention to the prices though!

We've been 3 times and we will keep going back. I usually order the Mine Frit ( Chinese noodles with Chinese sausages ) and it is great!

We used to come to this restaurant years ago when it was the old owner that was in charge. The last time we came three-for years ago, we did not like.
We tried again last night but we left without ordering because there was a lingering bad smell of old-cooking oil in the dining room.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner at this small, quaint restaurant in Verdun. I had the crispy shrimp with ginger and he had the sea bass - each plate came with rice and a tasty salad - we both really enjoyed our food - delicious!!!! We were first served deep fried cabbage which was very tasty and a lovely... More

You can mix-and-match your meal, pairing a choice of meats and seafood with different sauces. Most plates come with a cabbage appetizer that is original and amazing. The soup is also delicious and included in the meal. You can add appetizers if you want but the portions are so generous that you don't really need to! A lot of the... More

There used to be a colourful chef who did everything in the restaurant, from ordering, to cooking and washing the dishes. The owner chef has retired. The new owner brought his family. The menu is about the same as before but there is less home made preparation and there is more usage of commercial preparation especially with the sauces. Not... More

I was walking in the neighborhood at lunch and decided "hey, here's somewhere I've never been". Well, I wish I'd kept walking. It was lunchtime, and the restaurant was empty, not a good sign. Sat down and ordered Calamar, and my friend ordered Noodles with Chicken. The appetizers and soup were incredible, the fried cabbage was a real treat, and... More

Very interesting ambiance, wacky chef but food is too greasy for my taste
