Our second visit to this very cute and bi-centennial building. Hotel on top and PAMIKA on first floor. Close to the "Cartier Latin" Latin Quarter area of Montréal. The food, the decor, the staff, everything is exceptionally great. The owner and his staff just got it right. The price is very reasonable mostly if you are from USA or Europe.... More

We when to this restaurant based on TripAdvisor recommendation, the highest rated Thai restaurant in the area. It certainly did not disappoint. Small, quaint with great service. Food had a lot of flavour and nice presentation. I've not had a lot of Thai food, but certainly was the best I've had. Cost for two with no wine was 105.00 tip... More

We sat at the bar. Service was excellent - very friendly, efficient. All the food we ordered came at the same time and very fast (next time would order it in parts). Tom yum soup was the best we tasted outside of Thailand. All dishes were authentic and delicious. Definitely best Thai in Montréal we have had. Highly Recommended!!!

This place reminded me of Pai in Toronto. It's a great spot for thai food with friendly service. It's a small place so we where lucky to get the bar seats since they don't take any online reservations and so we didn't have any when we showed up. The food was not over the top great but good enough. It's... More

I visited this place a long time ago when it was still a small restaurant but now for the revisit, the restaurant is bigger than before however the atmosphere and the scent of freshly cook Thai food still lingering in the air is still there. We were a group of 4 hungry adults who have all been to Thailand and... More

This is definitely a great, authentic & cozy restaurants and most of my comments are nit-picking. Pamika definitely passes the authenticity test. It is not "north-American" Thai, it is the real deal! We tried 3 items for 2 not very hungry adults and we left full, but as other reviews, if you have a healthy appetite or very hungry I'd... More

This was one of the most enjoyable meals that I've had in Montreal. Pamika is a very small restaurant and it isn't fancy but the food is first class. We had so many dishes for sharing, including pad Thai, cashew chicken, beef curry, chicken satay, mango salad, crispy fried shrimp. It was all great and one of my guests learnt... More

I have been here twice. The first trip I went with one other person, the food was very good and the atmosphere on the patio was very good. Our server was very distracted and took a long time to greet us, take our orders and made a mistake with one of the orders. He was very nice and we weren't... More

This small Thai restaurant is super. The atmosphere is great with quirky table settings. The food was great. The menu was small but all the renowned dishes were available plus a chefs special which was lovely. The staff were really friendly. A very nice experience.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
