The best Brazilian barbecue in town! They have a great salad bar and all the meats are delicious! Also caipirinha and guaraná Antarctica is on the menu! The feijoada, banana, yucca and polenta are side dishes for the Rodizio! The staff all very nice and speak Portuguese. Was there for my birthday and the gave me a desert! Very good... More

Being a Brazilian I was excited to show this place to my friend traveling with me but man... I was ashamed. We opt in for the premium option to get the real meat options - we had one chance to eat the Picanha [which wasn't tasty at all] and the rest was stuff ourselves with fried banana, fries and polenta.... Arrived on Saturday. Web search indicated there was a $22 buffet. When we arrived only the small bottom area was open in the restaurant and extremely tiny salad bar. We ended up ordering All you can eat menu for $35. Had a couple small things off the salad bar that we're OK. Then they try to hit you with Fried... More

BBQ'd Food was great but salad coudl've been better as it wasn't very authentic. Service was good but the only thing that we did not like was the the compulsory service tip, which was very high!!

Travelled to Montreal with three children and two friends. Our family has eaten at numerous churrascaria's in the past and our kids always want to find one wherever we go. We generally love the experience. Sadly, we did not enjoy this experience. The salad bar was minimal and very disappointing. It contained some very unappealing salads only; maybe 8-10 items.... Located in the Old City adjacent to the lovely Cartier Park is Rodizio Brasil. They feature great cuts of beef, served on spindles which they carry around the cozy dining room. They also offer other Brazilian culinary delights. It's also a nice break from the crushing crowds along Rue St. Paul. It's quiet and relaxing and the food is outstanding.... More

I've been to Brazilians steakhouses in Toronto, Calgary, Canmore and Vancouver. This one would get the last position in my ranking of Brazilian steakhouses I've been in Canada. However you can get a taste of Brazil there and it is a good cost benefit of you like steaks since it's an all you can eat. The staff was super nice... More

The buffet: frozen salad (frozen in the buffet!), frozen peas and corn, marinated Carnation pickle and onion, white rice and beans...super small buffet, unappetizing, everything tasteless. The service: hard to be understood in english or french, ordered the giant garlic shrimp but received an other dish, returned it...and instead received my main course but the rest of my family did... Visited the restaurant during our trip earlier in the summer and decided to give it a try. Loved the idea that 99% of the staff is Brazilian and the food/ drinks are authentic. Had a few caipirinhas - one of the best I have tried in Montreal and Ottawa. Great, tasted as they do taste in Brazil. The meat was... More

This is a very small Brazilian restaurant. The buffet is not so great but the meet is excellent. Go there very hungry.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
