Great food and great service! We were 4 and decided to stay at the bar. The barmaid was very helpful, giving us a great service and even advice to help us to get the best from the place. Drinks were good, the meat very tender with good sides. We will certainly come back!

Excellent Steakhouse with great food and staff. We booked a party of 13 people and were put in a private room. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, especially when it came to the wine menu. Food was fantastic and the steak was perfectly cooked. They even treated us with a couple of shots. Rodolfo Garcia was a tremendous help... More

Sahar And Alexie took unbelievable care of us. We had a mimosa brunch with 30+ obnoxious Americans and they made sure everyone was happy and gave us our own private room. There is also a Bloody Mary make your own bar. Best brunch spot ever!

Ok we were a group. But still. Took forever to get the first course and same between each of them. The starter soup was tasteless and cold. My 10 years old can do better. No pepper offered nor available on the table. Second starter was ok but nothing to write home about, some salmon served tataki style. Hoping for the... More

Meals: like other restaurants in the area, they can have small helpings for meals. My meat eating friends have been generally happy. Unlike others, they do have 2 or 3 vegetarian choices, although the vegan salad was just something you would buy at a grocery store put on a plate. If you are a large group, try and reserve the... So we went for the 'Anniversary menu' on a saturday night at 7:30. 25$ each for a 3 courses menu instead of 50$ so it was a great deal, and the reason we went. Upon arrival I loved the place, it's beautiful inside and very well located outside. I was a little bit surprised that it was almost empty for... More

I went there for Montreal Opentable and i must say I was disapointed. I give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a special menu but then again, you want people to discover your restaurant and come back right? So you must put your best effort. All this to say that food was disapointing to say the least.... More

This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent friendly service. We selected to try this restaurant for the first time as part of the MTL a Table event. The restaurant had a specific menu for the event. Although we were offered different choices from the menu we decided to go with one of the choices offered as part of the MTL... More

This restaurant is located in Montreal's old town. The decoration is very nice, and the overall ambiance is great, both at lunchtime and at dinner. The menu is mostly inspired on - but not limited to - Argentinian cuisine. Food quality varies from very good to great. I went there a few times and was never disappointed. The wine list... More

Description
Rooted in the history and nestled in the urban and regional landscape, genuine Argentinean cuisine is distinct, with a strong flavourful identity - easy to understand and even easier to love. L’Atelier d’Argentine’s menu is honest, focusing on the quality of the core ingredient and a true reflection of contemporary Argentinian food. “With great respect for the produce and its origin - great ingredients turn into great food”.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
