I have only tried the breakfast burrito, but it is delicious. Having lived in Mexico for 5 years, I know when I am served Fakexican food, and this is the real deal. The salsa was the same on the tables of Mexico and even some of the candy made my kids smile as they haven't seen it anywhere since we... More

This unpretentious restaurant is located in the gentrifying ( and now almost hipsterish) area of Point St. Charles ( or the Point as it was once known). The restaurant is a" joint" in the good sense of the word; small, cozy, eclectic décor, passionate staff. We had quesadillas ( chicken) and thoroughly enjoyed them; the sauces in particular were delicious... More

I decided to venture out and try something new and so I found this little gem in a residential neighborhood! Everything is homemade and prepared fresh right in front of you! The salsa was "banging " !!!!👍👍👍😋😋the best I have had! Service was fast and accommodating! I ordered the chicken tacos (2) dinner. It comes with rice ,beans and a... More

A very small place, very charming staff, authentic home made food. You don't go there for the decoration but for the food. Time after time i'm impress :)

This is not the first time I'm reviewing this great little restaurant in the Point-Saint Charles district of Montreal. Last time i was here I had a burrito which was delicious. Today I decided to order their California Salad. This is the menu description of it: "Black beans, peppers, corn, avocado, and feta cheese, served on a bed of mixed... More

Awesome restaurant with awesome owners. Brought some clients here for lunch. The food was delicious. Guacamole, salsa so good. I got a chicken salad and it was perfect! Would definitely go back. Very reasonably priced!

I spent my early childhood years growing up it Pointe St Charles, lovingly known as The Pointe. Due to some family obligations I take a drive down to the Pointe weekly, a few weeks in a row I discovered just how many different little restaurants exist on Centre Street. I finally wandered into Cafe Cantina two weeks ago and while... More

Quaint little place that is surprisingly never really busy considering the quality of food offered. Take out or sit down, both options are good as the food here is king. Well worth a visit.

Staying in Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)
Once the core of industrialised Montreal, the factories and historic buildings of Le Sud-Ouest have been renovated into homes, museums, and small businesses. The rejuvenated landscape has put its Saint-Henri district in vogue, with cutting-edge galleries and an ever-expanding network of restaurants. Foodies can especially delight in the mom-and-pop shops in Little Burgundy, or at the Atwater Market, where outdoor stalls sell fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat, street vendors have menus of hot fish and wine, and the indoor market offers chocolate, breads, and coffee beans. Dominated by the gentle waters of the Lachine Canal, Le Sud-Ouest is still very much an outdoor town, with a number of pedestrian-only bridges traversing the waters, bike paths along the canal with views of the Leisure Boats, and massive green spaces like Angrignon Park to stop for a picnic, or to play a sport.
