Expensive food that didn't taste great. Small portions. Bad value. But service is good. And it's a quite place if you want to have some peace. I think u can get wifi too from the cafe next door. Wouldn't go back.

We had the buffet breakfast because we had coupons. I felt forced to eat here, and wish that I had eaten at one of the wonderful restaurants offered in the neighbourhood. bad food.

The restaurant and the bar are attended by just two persons who can't clearly cope when the restaurant is full. The service is very slow, unattentive and (in the case of the male waiter) plain rude. The food was not good and the prices are high. I spent one week in Montreal eating in many different places. This was, by... More

This establishment is located on the ground floor of the Best Western Ville Marie where we're staying. I'm not a middle eastern food fan and only visited the Le Zawedeh for the breakfast buffet due to the 2 vouchers I received from the B/W. The decor was nice enough with table cloths, silverware settings and cute coffee cups. It's a... More

OK, Lebanese restaurants are not having a reputation for their ambience, in general save a few exception. But this one is particularly bad (OK, I agree it is in a best-western hotel but still...we are in Montreal here, not in the middle of Oregon or something). Service is just as poor as you can get...you need to "interrupt" the only... More

Delicious appetizers, meats and vegetarian dishes for sharing; a few non-Lebanese menu items for the less adventurous; quiet and easy to talk during dinner; decent prices

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
