Lower the standards in a sport bar? Really, no expectations. But everything we tried was just bleshhh. The fried calamari, the hot dogs, the poutine, the submarines, the steak...the desserts...you would imagine that at least a few things on the greasy spoon side will taste something but it is like the cook never ate there or something. Service is...well inconsistent.... More

Came in around 10 pm looking for diner. Ordered a poutine and when it arrived it was very cold. Cheese curds we're still ice crunchy in middle and fries were slightly warm at best. Was disappointed

I went to watch UFC on a busy Saturday night and the barman Nadim gave us a great service. Despite the place being super busy, he served us wirh a smile and was very polite! I plan to go back for sure. The place has a good ambiance and tasty pub food as well!

Arrived on Wednesday August 3, 2016, 2200hrs. After a 8 hr drive from NY, went for a bite to eat and a few beers. Appetizer STUFFED JALAPENO POPPERS, Dinner BRAISED PULLED PORK BURGER, and STATION DES SPORTS CLUB SANDWICH, and we both had what was suppose to be so special REGULAR POUTINE FRIES. Expecting it to taste like good bar... More

Five of us stopped by for a very late lunch, so the place was not at all busy. We were warmly greeted and served drinks immediately. I ordered an $8 "Slapshot" drink that I think had little or no alcohol, and the beer that my friends ordered was warm. Our food was served a little while later. I ordered a... More

The station used to be good in it's first 3 years. They just rised the price and downgraded the quality of food. Beer is obviously mixed with water and watchout for #2 the day after!

In frankness, we weren't really looking for a sports bar, but rather for a place to eat. As many guests were having a meal on the patio here, we decided to sit down for dinner. Though both the service and our starters were okay, all of our main courses were absolutely terrible. This place may be well suited for watching... More

Let me start by saying it is not my kind of restaurant in the first place, but we were looking for cheap eats and drinks with an nice atmosphere. Upon arrival we were not greeted, we had to go get a waitress to finally sit for 15 minutes before ordering. 10 minutes later we had to ask the manager to... More

Went with my fiancee and another couple. My fiancee found a live bug mixed in her salad and the waitress apologized and said she would send her Manger over. The manager never came over and honestly avoided us, as someone who has worked in a restaurant for over 5 years I find this an embarrassment! We will never eat at... More

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighbourhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
