The scallops are a specialty and so worthwhile. Especially when served with mushrooms. They change the menu every season, so I make sure to go regularly. They are simply out of this world! The food is about the most expensive I have ever had, but I always find that the meal is worth it. We will simply have a glass... More

We had visited the sister restaurant Cadat and they had also mentioned about their other Restaurant Bouillon Bilk. So we decided to try it out. We started off with the fresh dumplings, beef tartar, ceviche and oysters. Very nice and fresh! We also had a calamari salad. For our mains we had the salmon, the white fish and some beef... More

This bright modern place is very popular with the local foodies, and for good reason. Each dish was enormously detailed, having many fantastic components---very daring at times---to make an absolutely perfect whole. Easily the best restaurant I have eaten in in Montreal in the past decade. The five of us too a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts, and all... More

I tried the dinner here a few months ago, and today I was back for lunch. All dishes were excellent, and what really stood out was the cavatelli - so delicious. And also the creamy yogurt dessert was something I would recommend. A great restaurant with great service.

If you are looking for the ultimate dining experience go to Bouillon Bilk. The service was outstanding but most important the food was absolutely delicious. Each dish has its own unique flavours. One of the best meals of 2016! Looking forward to our next visit!

Al superlatives would qualify this restaurant. The service, the quality of the food, the originality of the presentation and the taste of each and every plate. The restaurant is a few minutes walk from the Place des arts and ranks first amongst the restaurants in the vicinity.

Situated on a block of rough and dilapidated building, this restaurant is hidden behind a facade of a sign from a long closed business. We, and apparently many, first time visitors struggled to find it. So much so that we popped into Hotel 10 - a large-ish hotel a block away even the conceirge there had not heard of Bullion... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
