In french, bagatelle has many meanings, but for this review,i will use the word to describe how little you will pay for great food, great service and all for a bagatelle of a price. My wife reserved here for my sister in law's 60th birthday party.Being 14 people,we needed a resto that could offer a menu for all budgets and where we could bring... We had a great brunch here New Year's Eve morning. Our group of 4 was sat immediately and a server came over to help get us started with beverages. Many tables around us brought their own champagne and were having mimosas as it is BYOB. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was great and very filling.

We enjoyed the bistrô, people were nice to us, the food didn't take long and it was delicious. We had the fish of day and the AAA filet mignon.

We had a delightful lunch, in the outdoor seating area. This is a must on your places to eat. Sandwich Lunch choices include salad soup or fries.

I give. 4 because it is the best place in the neighbourhood. Otherwise, in another burrough, it'd be closer to 3. Lively. Food is not good, presentation is ok, service is good. Only down side is that flexibility is McDonald style: I asked to change the ham for bacon in an egg Benedict, and was told it would confuse the... More

We went there on my brother-in-law's recommendation for a quick family lunch. This small restaurant is located in a very nice old neighborhood that has been getting nicer and nicer every year. My grandmother lived around here about 50 years ago and I hadn't really been back. There's a small narrow terrace on the side that should be fun on... More

I really liked this place. The waitress was so kind, friendly and polite. She deserves 5 starts and a good tip. The atmosphere is great. You can bring your own wine but in order to open it you have to meet the criteria. For example, we had to order 3 entrees instead of two. The food was delicious! The onion... More

Very good BYOW restaurant situated not far from the Olympic Stadium. Great little bistro ambiance with helpful and efficient service. The menu is short but don't forget to look up at the blackboard for additional dishes. We had a great rouille soup and the seafood dishes were excellent. Overall, a bit pricey for the experience but it's well worth it... More

I had lunch at Bagatelle for the first time this week and I appreciated it. The ambiance is very good and the waitress was awfully nice and competent. I had smoked salmon as an entree and the sausages for the main dish which came with allumette french fries and a salad. My friend had the main dish of smoked salmon... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
