Had a late lunch here, burger counter style. Burgers were delicious with lots of interesting toppings specialty burgers. Kids had mini burgers, which were just the right size. Service was very friendly and food was very good, but a bit pricey for burgers and fries.

I would't bother, just go to mcdonald, I typically avoid bragging named restaurant for a reason. This one is no exception, fries not cooked, ambiance low, service low and food ok. Tried the classic with fries and my wife made her own with sweet potatoes fries. Her fries were good.

40$ for 2 burgers, 2 fries, a lemonade and a sparkling water... Already it's pricey for what you get in the end. However... I don't know if it was a new cook in training or what, but we got there at around 7pm on a Wednesday night for me to try the Burger Week's offering, while my girlfriend took another... More

Two summers in a row now I've popped into Le Gourmet Burger, usually after having a pint and watching some footie at McKibbons across the way. "Gourmet" burger joints have popped up all over the place, but fancy schmancy meats and toppings don't a gourmet burger make, you still have to be able to cook a good burger and the... More

I order a kobe burger, no flavor, I really don't know how they offer gourmet food, burger king is better, the waiter ask 15% tip over the tax, jaja, I complaint about service and food, for sure never come back.

Everyone has there idea of what the best burger is or how to make it. And I get it.. I get the positive and the negative reviews for this place on trip advisor. In fact I went to the restaurant because I had a graving for some lunch; walked by, read Gourmet Burger and I got hooked. Once I'm inside... More

Tastes amazing! Very reasonable price. Cute setting. And I love how you can have either a full burger or a half. Sweet potatoes are divine. Love the choice of toppings! They have everything you can imagine for toppings. You have to try this place!

Every time I visit Montreal, my brother brings me here and its always exactly the same as I remember it. This is my favorite burger place in town and being right next to Concordia is super convenient!

Gourmet burger is by far the best burger in town and probablymthe cheapest as well. Its grilled over coal which gives you the feeling you were eating in your back yard. I've been several times over the last couple years and i'll be returning as soon as I get that craving again.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
