My husband and I received a gift certificate for Le St-Urbain for Christmas. It was quite far from our usual haunts as we generally hit the Griffintown / Le Plateau areas. But since we had a GC, we ventured out. The place: small and intimate. Good sign. The greeting was quaint and genuine. We had asked to sit at the... More

A small restaurant in Ahuntsic. Parking was rather easy, considering all the little streets in the area. Staff was very friendly and professional, taking care of all little details (e.g. can we take your coats? want more bread? what kind of wine do you like?). The food was very tasty. Would definitely have the fish from the appetizer menu again... More

Delicious alternative French bistro with simple and yet good food. Nice wine menu. Service should be improved to match the quality of food. But would ignore the service quality and would come back hoping next time service is better.

This was my 5th visit to this neighbourhood restaurant since it opened. I have always been very delighted by the cuisine and service. Would I go again, yes. I rarely go back more than twice to such restaurants if I go back at all since I like to try new places. This one really is a keeper though. Original chalkboard... More

I visited this restaurant today. Was invited by a client and had never heard of it before. Didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Located on Fleury close to St Laurent. Small well decorated dining area with open kitchen. Lunch is a 4 choice table d'hôte. I started with the arracinhi that was small but very tasty. My... More

Based my visit on a review on Eater Montreal, and couldn't have been happier. Location wise, Le St-Urbain is quite a ways out if you are staying downtown, however, this was a plus for us, because everyone in the restaurant seemed to be local, which is never a bad thing. Comfortable atmosphere, with daily menu written on a large Chalkboard... More

Dined here on a Friday afternoon for lunch with my wife at the recommendation of a few friends and we enjoyed our experience overall. The restaurant is simple and pleasant with an open kitchen concept and nice wine selection. I had the garden salad to start, which was no more than a typical garden salad although I would have expected... More

Its one of my favorite in Montreal. The location is bad as its far from the center and not quite easy to access but the food and the wine is always perfect. The deserts are original and delicious
