Last night, Mr Spouse and I had decided to have dinner just the two of us and leave kids (full feed) at the hotel. He drove of the long strip of the road to find a restaurant. We'd found this restaurant - a treasure for people who love to eat! Thankfully our waitress spoke a little English just enough to... More

Nothing to rave about as there are more authentic Thai restaurants in Montreal but just nice, well prepared, decent food at a very reasonable price. The soup are always a good meal by themselves and the last time we were there, the peanut butter chicken with fried spinach was excellent. Simple, fresh and well prepared dishes: this is why we... Very good Thaï restaurant in Montreal. We are actually going there since 1996. For some reason, prices looks to haven't changed since. Same staff over the years, the experience is exactly the same and comforting. Lemongrass soup is a must. Bring your own wine, SAQ across street. Service is quick and effective, you won't have an empty glass of water.... More

I had Chicken with peanut butter sauce, mushrooms and spinach with rice. Food was excellent... and price even better.. $13. Good portion and fantastic service. Place is clean. Plenty of free parking, close to Metro station. My girlfriend and I go there every 2-3 months. You can bring your own wine. There is an SAQ express across the street open... More

The food tastes OK, but if you're looking for Thai food, this is abslutely not the place. The yum wun sen (glass noodle salad) had about 3 noodles in it, and was mostly iceberg lettuce instead. Their red curry doesn't taste even remotely like Thai curry is supposed to. It was completely lacking in any of the complexities that should... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
