Beautfiul, large revolving restaurant. A fun place for an occasion or if you're new to Montreal. The food is prepared perfectly but most of the dishes lacked flavor. Don't get me wrong - there was nothing wrong with the professionally executed food. The chef is either very easy on salt and spice or Portuguese food is incredibly boring. They were... More

I do not understand why it seems to be a place where to go. The food was correct but not WOW and the prices were WOW expensive. The service was forgettable to say the least. The food was not at all at the level we expected since we go to many restaurants around the world in a year. Overreated to... More

Placed moved. Now it is in the top of the old DELTA HOTEL. Off all the places my brother in law wanted to come to, he picked Portus CAILLE. It was way to expensive, but the desert was the best! The best part was the VIEW! We are on a circular platform turning and you get to see everything and... More

As of the beginning of May, 2016 the restaurant has moved and is now named Portus 360 located at the top of the EVO building. It is now a revolving restaurant.

For many years my family and friends go to this amazing place, from the moment you enter, you feel the welcome. As usual the entrees are great , we had cod croquettes, seared tuna delicious ,a delicious soup, but don't go crazy for the entrees because once the main course arrives, then you'll be delighted, we had Chilean bass, black... Portus Calle does not change much: great news ! I was a bit curious to see what this place had become after many years. We were there last month and happy to report it still is a great place to have a tasty slow dinner. Quiet ambiance, excellent service, really well-prepared and presented food, what else can I say ?... More

We only had coffee and a hot chocolate, so the review is limited. The coffee was sadly lukewarm and not great, however the chocolate was nice and the portions were small. The restaurant has a nice interior and good service and they have a good variety.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
