A tiny little place with blaring music and a bunch of kids running it, the service isn't bad, the place is fairly clean, and the food they churn out id pretty darn good! the portions are large, the fish is cooked perfectly and battered nicely...More
Fish was not good, chips were awful. There is nothing else on the menu, and my guess is that it would be closed if it were not in such a great location opposite to the park.
I live near where Penrose Fish and Chips used to be and they had very good fish and average chips but Chippy's has great fish and the best chip anywhere! This is a very small place with place for 5 otherwise it's takeout Trinity Bellwoods...More

If you just want fish and chips and you're in T.O., don't even bother to entertain going anywhere else except this cool hole in the wall on Queen West, east of Strachan. Music blaring, fresh fish/hand cut potatoes frying, in house sauce dipping, mouths watering...More
Chippy's used to be good years ago. Now the servings of fish are very "small" and greasy. It's too bad they went downhill. Bye-bye, I won't be coming back. The small portion of fish was ridiculous.
