This restaurant is easy to find, just north of the 401 off Kingston. It's really easy to get off and back on the 401! The entrance back onto 401 West is just around the corner! This was my second visit in three months. My first visit was New Year's Day and I was really surprised and pleased to find any... More

My friend and I went here looking for a standard diner breakfast. The prices were very high considering it was just a few eggs and bacon. I would recommend taking a moment to look for an actual diner, rather than this franchise. I ordered the Eggs Florentine, and it was very yummy but the home fries were bland and undercookked.... A friend and I went to this restaurant on June 7'th, 2015 for lunch. Server was very friendly and attentive. We both had a Caesar Salad with chicken which was well done with fast service. The price was ok as was the size of the serving. The restaurant itself was very clean. I would recommend the place for anyone wanting... More

Went first thing for breakfast. Very unsanirary place. Not cleaned properly. Booths were sticky with hand prints visible and dried food. Will not return. They need to hire cleaning team or fire them if they already have one.

Myself I'VE been going to whimpy's for years but finally had a bad burger yet not all diners are the same. The burger was dry and not a normal burger like the diner on st. clair they are the best have been for more then 30 years for Me.

Attitude from waitress when I simply let her know we were ready. I didn't expect her to drop everything or ignore other customers so her comment and further mutterings under her breath soured everything. All in all, it's okay if it's the only place open but if you have a choice eat anywhere else. :(

Sticky tables, greasy food, grubby restaurant. One to miss! We swore we would never go back. Disappointing for Wimpy's.

The visit was by no means memorable. The milkshake & bruschetta was embarrassing. This famous burger did not live up to the billing.

Not only was the room cold (we had to wear our coats) but, the plates were stone cold consequently the top of my omlette was warm-ish but, the bottom was cold. When we suggested to the waitress that the chef should heat the plates, she looked as us as if we were joking. I think a meal in an igloo... More

I love the hot open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. The burgers are also good. Breakfast are great. Place is a chain of diners but they manage to keep the food consistent. The only complaint is that many of their locations are small and the tables are squeezed together.

Thank Terry R

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
