We've had take out from Ghazale many times over the years. Unfortunately, like many places the customer service can make or break your experience. While I would normally have given a 4/5, my wife had a terrible experience here this past summer. She ordered some food and unfortunately our young daughter became upset and began to cry and distracted her... More

Although it is not as Middle-Eastern as it sounds to be, I found this one of the very rare neat and clean food I have had. All the food served is Halal, cooked well and medium spicy. The amount of food is very good value for money. Dining area are not so fancy, yet we enjoyed the food. They offer... More

I had a falafel wrap there and found it very dry. The falafel balls are too soft (probably undercooked). You maybe better off trying something else. The staff there are also rude.

I have been to Michelin star and 4 diamonds restaurants, it doesn't not mean that great food is only found in those very expensive places! After going to HotDocs on Bloor, I wanted something healthy and tasty even if I didn't have much time. I was thrill to see right beside the theater this tiny Middle East eatery. From the... More

Tasty and cheap lebanese food, just a few metres from bathurst subway station. A complete meal for less than 10$ for every kind of preference (veggie as well).

I am not kidding..this is like a Lebanese or Syrian family moved in next door and invited you over for dinner. This is homemade fabulous food that is cheap, healthy and filled with love. Delicious and I dream about this place when I am away from Toronto!

I absolutely love going to this place for lunch.(once a month when in area) I get the veggie plate with a side of pickles and beets. The eggplant and veggie in tomato sauce mix (eggplant Mosaga)is to die for for. The fried eggplant and zucchini with veggie pakoras makes the meal complete. My hubby loves either chicken plates and the... More

We had falafel sandwiches while waiting in line to get into Bloor Hot Docs Cinema. If our sandwiches were typical of the fare here, this place is very good and very reasonably priced.

This was just so good - i had the beef with all the trimmings. Fast service and at a good price. The seating area is a bit small but for a quick bite this was great.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
