We ordered delivery from Pizza Rustica. The pizza was above average, but tree garlic bread was not good.

We stopped in for lunch at Pizza Rustica before a Jays game. There were 4 of us, and we each ordered a pizza, but could easily still had plenty to eat if we shared 3 pizzas. Service was very good, and pizza was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The leftovers we took home also reheated well. Good spot for pizza,... More

This was one of my worst dining experiences ever. The staff were unfriendly, and hardly looked at us. The waitress did not check on us and it was necessary to flag her down for salt. The table was not properly set. The food was very bland. They did not offer us Parmesan cheese for our past which is standard at... More

A half price over $40 promotion...and so I tried it. Pros - fast delivery - options for custom pastas and pizzas Neutral - custom seafood pizza was okay; could have been more generous with the toppins Cons - jambalaya fettucini was tastleless, bland and not spicy; huge disappointment; felt like it was not freshly made Will not order again...even at... The food is average at best but the management and service is really what lets this place down. Their menu offered options of pizza toppings that they didn't have and when I ordered them, instead of telling me they didn't have them, they just took the initiative of replacing them with other random pizza toppings I had no interest in.... Grabbed dinner before the Blue Jays game. Used Open Table for the reservation. Everything was great. We had Caesar's salad, Bruschetta and the beef/garganzola pizza. Food was good. Nice place for a meal.

Happened upon this little place on the way from the Blue Jays game. Our server was great. I'm sorry I don't remember her name. We only had one pizza...wish we tried more. Try the sausage salami pizza. Great place for a late night snack after the game.

This is a small cozy restaurant with young and dynamic personnel in the kitchen and on the floor. Very good italian fare for the price and varied menu. The service stands out in this small restaurant though. Waiter notice my accent and went out of his way to talk to me in French all through the evening... very nice touch!

One of the reasons why we chose this place for lunch was the abundance of gluten-free options, which is unusual for an Italian restaurant. My friend had a pizza, which she found satisfying both in flavour and serving size. (It was huge!) I ordered the penne primavera and couldn't believe how oily and tasteless it was. The only vegetables were... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
