We are at Ki after a late concert with our two teenage daughters. The service and food were superb, you definitely won't be disappointed, extremely fresh and while presented. Staff was very helpful and prompt. We will be back Ki!-

If you are looking for fresh uni, please search no further. The sushi is fresh and the tempura is light and crispy. A nice place for large groups.

I have wanted to eat at this restaurant for years and we finally got a chance and we were NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was great. It looked ultra modern on the inside but the crowd kept the place lively which was nice. We had a lot of privacy from the other diners where we were seated and it really was... More

Food quality is ok and not as authentic as many Japanese restaurant. However bearing in mind that this is pretty fusion food so it's ok. Sashimi and sushi quality is alright but the portion ain't generous. The makimono roll is good.

I've come to Ki several times after work with coworkers and have always enjoyed eating here. The servers are friendly and helpful and the food is fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. Expect to pay a bit more than your average sushi place, but you get above average food, service, and ambiance so I'd say it's worth it if you're in... More

Had a business lunch here and we both wanted sushi but weren't sure what we wanted. After asking us a few questions we left things in our servers hands and she brought us a number of awesome sushi selections. Had a bottle of wine which made this one of the more expensive lunches I've had in some time. Overall the... More

Ki was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel, and, after perusing the menu on his laptop, we were sold. I'm not saying the food was extraordinary, but it was a delightful spin on traditional sushi. For example, the Tropical Binnaga features albacore, arugula, pinenuts, pineapple and raspberry sauce. I highly recommend the tempura butterfish roll and the... More

Came here on Friday October 28 for a team lunch with co- workers ... Restaurant is nicely decorated and feels modern. The chef selected food for us (recommended by the boss), and it was great! We had these fried shrimps for appetizers and then we had sashimi, which was very fresh and melts in your mouth! The sushi was excellent... More

Ki occupies an absolutely gargantuan space considering its location in the heart of Toronto's Financial District. I have no idea how they turn enough tables to pay for a place this big, but their business model isn't the subject of this review. It's a very elegant, dark and modern room, complete with a running water border to much of the... More

This was a great location to enjoy sushi and company. I would recommend reserving a table by the sushi chefs. It is business casual and very busy. The food is fabulous

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
