I guess if you are going that it is their suggestion. The menu has meat and potato but it won't be in the form you get at The Keg - still it's meat and potato. If everyone else wants the tasting menu then just be polite and suck it up - your preference will be to just order from the menu. The food is great and it won't kill you - you never know you might even enjoy it, and the setting is lovely.
