Saturday evening. We opted for 7 course tasting, and our waiter informed us that actually, we would be able to taste 14 dishes, since the chef will do 7 different plates. Very thoughtful, surprising and pleasant. You feel almost at "ratatouille" with " surprise me"......More

Tried George recently. Supposedly sourced from Canadian ingredients. Nice restaurant with polite professional staff. Nice atmosphere with no one talking on their phones. Menu selection is small. Food was very good with beautiful presentation. Prices are on the high side. Good vegetarian/vegan and gluten free...More

Certainly a special place for special occasions. Staff ate very attentive, the service was perfectly matched with the elegance of the private dining room and ambiance. The venue, food and service was spectacular, many thanks to Jason our private server that made the night a...More

We haven't been to Toronto for a while, but always remembered it to be a great place with very good food. So we happened to be in Toronto and booked for the George. It was as good as we remembered it to be. We were...More

Both my dinner companion and I for some reason chose from the a la carte menu and did not order one of the tasting menus. It was a mistake. The dishes (salad, soup, vegetables) were undistinguished. Beef tenderloin was excellent. We cast envious glances at...More

Our experience began with being seated next to a room with a loud wedding going on. It was not the best seat but the restaurant was full so we had to try and talk above the music. Our server, Kimberly, was amazing. One of our...More

Phenomenal meal, Tasting Menu was great....nothing more need be said. Service amazing, Food and Wine even better. NOT Cheap, but worth every penny.

Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
