Attentive wait staff, excellent food, wonderful ambience and pleasant surroundings made our trip to George memorable. Not inexpensive but not out of line for high end Toronto restaurants.

Since Splendido closed in Toronto about a year ago I firmly believe this is one of, if not the best restaurant in Toronto!! The service is outstanding, the food is creative and the chef's tasting menu (available in 5, 7 or 10 courses) is incredible!...More

At George, they try hard. They seem committed to improving the food experience. And, they do a good job. Dishes are tasty, attractive, and varied. But they aren't really special. And, at these prices, I expect them to be. Which is the Toronto conundrum. Am...More

Arrogant and un-compassionate management and feels they are above the common people. First time for us and we looked at lot of reviews to pick George. Nice interior, good server. Picked chef's special 5 course tasting menu and 4th course got a hair in the...More

We walked to this restaurant after seeing an opera matinee at the Four Seasons Centre. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is delicious, and the service is wonderful. George is a real jewel.

We went to George for our anniversary and had the 7 course tasting menu. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, and like nothing we've had at any other restaurant. Myself and my fiancee each got different dishes so we could each try a wider variety of...More

Service was excellent as was the food. Just a little pricey for me to eat there regularly. The decor was nice and cozy.

We were there just before Christmas and had a five course meal. I wasn't to crazy about eating a five course meal, but the portions were small enough that you didn't feel stuffed after three courses. The wine pairings were excellent and the food was...More

I am almost certain that most everyone in the Restaurant was having the Tasting Menu, which is offered in 5, 7 or 10 course options. We had the 10 course option which was a fantastic though somewhat grueling experience especially for my Teenage Girls. Everything...More

I went here with my husband for our anniversary last year. We had a great experience. Both my husband and I are vegetarian and we were very pleased with our meal. They had a vegetarian menu which offered plenty of selection for each of us...More

I guess if you are going that it is their suggestion. The menu has meat and potato but it won't be in the form you get at The Keg - still it's meat and potato. If everyone else wants the tasting menu then just be polite... More
