I have been meaning to provide a review for some time. The 5 course tasting menu is excellent and kind of fun because you don't know what you are going to get. The service was excellent both times.

Excellent restaurant with very special plates, with good presentation and delicious... A lot of wines for you to choose. Very expensive.

I went to George on a double date and we tried their five course dinner tasting menu. Some of the impressive dishes we tried were the scallops, ahi tuna, halibut, gnocchi, cornish hen, and the wild boar. Every dish had beautiful presentation and tasted amazing....More

I recently dined here for a business meeting in a private room with approximately 15 of my colleagues. We were seated in a private dining room which was equipped with audio visual capabilities for our presentation. It was quite noisy, however, which unfortunately was disruptive...More

We reserved a private room (The Sand Room) at the back of the restaurant for our gathering of 14 people. The room was absolutely perfect- elegant modern bright decor and sound proofed. It was a perfect size for our group. We also had access to...More

We had a great time there. Had champagne and entrees before dinner in the backyard. These small bites were all delicious especially the oysters. Dinner was also very good.

Ridiculously over-priced. Food is ok; not oustanding. Service ok; not outstanding for the price. Portions too small; I was hungry. No wonder it's so expensive; had to be 10 people in the kitchen. Do you really need all that staff? Wouldn't go back.

The food here was definitely good, and the effort to create a fine dining experience is not lost, but the food isn't great. We didn't opt for the tasting menu, but did order 4 courses (including dessert) and wine. I wouldn't say that anything wasn't...More

Ate here recently for my birthday and must say it was one of the most tasty and creative meals I’ve eaten in the city of Toronto! The five course tasting menu was to die for. It was actually six courses if you include the amuse...More

Lovely place with astonishing food. Everything was exceptional. Wine a little pricey but would come back again and again. Try their lobster tartare. They serve food that you would expect in Montreal, NYC, Vancouver and Chicago. Canoe & Scaramouche are dead on arrival compared to...More

I guess if you are going that it is their suggestion. The menu has meat and potato but it won't be in the form you get at The Keg - still it's meat and potato. If everyone else wants the tasting menu then just be polite... More
