Had a wonderful meal and great services! The pasta dishes we had were extremely delicious. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had.

it was a nice cosy restaurant, excellent food and service. I had the veal which was excellent. The wine was average and expensive though

Great evening meal. I had the seafood pasta and my daughter had a basic pasta with Chicken. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere. It is a terrific Italian restaurant.

Four Maritimers were on their way to the theatre and John, the affable proprietor of the Kit Kat, along with Ashley, our efficient and friendly server, ensured we had a lovely, if quick, dining experience! We were treated very well, enjoyed our plentiful food and...drink, and made it in time for the show! Whew it was a mini-marathon! Next time we're in town, I hope to have a more relaxing visit. Definitely a spot to try if you enjoy Italian cuisine!More

We visited with reservations on a Saturday night at 6pm. The restaurant was already completely full and we waited about 10 minutes to be seated, during which time we were asked to stand in the middle of the restaurant against a wall with patrons and...servers trying to maneuver past us. We were seated at a smallish table right next to another couple. I had to shift my chair a bit so I wouldn't hit the man to my right with my elbow while eating (seating locations varied from loud and cozy to loud and uncomfortably packed). Service was friendly, but everyone working in the restaurant seemed frantic. This may be why we had to repeat our drink orders twice and why our table was approached by three different workers to check on us during our meal. I had the rigatoni bolognese and my wife had anglehair basilico. Both were good, but lacked a "wow" factor. My pasta was slightly undercooked and was a bit hard and chewy. If you're looking for a place to have a meal in the middle of "the action" then this may be the perfect place for you. Depending on how outgoing you are, you may participate in several conversations around you at the same time, and maybe even make some new friends due to the proximity of seating. The gentleman to my right desperately wanted to join our conversation, or for us to join his, and to each his own I guess. On the other hand, if you're looking for a place to have a romantic date, talk to your SO with any level of privacy, or just enjoy a peaceful meal and conversation, this is not that place.More

We had read the reviews in advance and were glad we ate here before seeing Come From Away at the Royal Alexandra. I had the NY Strip steak and it was outstanding along with veggies and mashed potatoes. My wife opted for the penne salsiccia...and liked it very much. Our server was friendly but made a couple of mistakes. First she brought me the wrong beer. Then since the dessert we ordered was gone, SHE decided on what we wanted to substitute without asking us. But we will definitely go back.More

Smart casual is the dress attire. It is a laid back atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable whether you are dressed up or casual.
