So once again had the chance to go to 7 west and our server was this awesome young Asian lady server who took care of us. I ordered there hummus and made sure everyone got a chance to try it because anyone I make try it loves it and both my freinds one from Brazil and one from the phillipines... More

I've been coming to 7 West for over 20 years. It has a nice laid back atmosphere and the food is consistently good. They have 3 floors and a small patio in the summer. I usually eat on the 2nd floor. I work nearby and come here with colleagues or by myself for lunch. It's not too loud so people... More

We stopped here for breakfast. Service was friendly and the food was great. But, no coffee refill. It did not come with the meal, which made the whole thing rather out of our budget. We only had eggs and bacon.

On a budget trip to Toronto, this was our one fancy meal expense. The Poutine is good and the house burger is great! The cocktails, are worth every penny you pay!

I love the vibe of this place, it's always cozy when it's cold out and airy during the summer. Their mac & cheese is delicious, as are their cakes. It's kind of tucked away, but the fact that it's open 24/7 is probably the best part.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Whenever I'm in Toronto, I come here with my boyfriend. It certainly doesn't serve extraordinary food, but it's just really tasty comfort food. I tried many dishes so far and I liked every single one of them.

I go here different times just for the banana chocolate cake alone, my absolute favourite cake in the city. The sandwiches and pastas, though slightly generic, are also decently good. The staff quite often leaves something to be desired, but I have a hard time faulting them when the place is open 24/7. The atmosphere is cozy, candlelit, and romantic,... More

The place is cute. The service was good. The Food not that good and the wine too expensive for the quality. I ordered Sicilian pizza and volpelicella, Italy.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
