Loved this diner in the old part of the city - delicious pancakes, typical booth-style seats, true Canadian style. Highly recommended

The Patrician Grill is true old school from the ancient neon sign that hangs out front, the booths with Formica tops and a menu offering standard diner fare (think of burgers, club sandwiches, meat loaf and so on). The main waiter seeing over most tables...More

It was late afternoon, and was walking back to my office. Hadn't had Lunch and was starving. Passed by this place and walked straight in. This place is really an old school diner, with excellent home cooked food. I was asked to sit in a...More

Used Trip Advisor to locate a cheap place to eat with good reviews. I decided to take the small walk from the Novotel Hotel I was staying at, to the Patrician Grill. Sat at the counter and ordered coffee and a Western Omelet. While waiting...More

Friendly, clean and simple. Compared to shiny new buildings this place looks a little shabby. Don't be fooled as it's simple genuine home cooked food is great. It's not Michelin starred, nothing is 'reduced' or 'drizzled' but it's fab.

Blast from the past...diner with booths or sit-at counter. Not fake-old. Been there a long time. Basic fare...good brunchy, breakfasty menu.

The food is so good that I went there twice. The boss guessed that I don't want bread and modified the dish on the spot and chose the beer for me. Too bad they accept only cash - very inconvenient for foreigners. If you doubt...More

The boss is not overplaying the "is everything ok for you?", running after customers and tips. He just makes it happen, being here and there, all into his business. I liked the real and the truthfulness of the place. It is not the to die...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
